Whip It
GRRRLL power at its best! This is the story of a Texas teen named Bliss (played by the always charming Ellen Page with her usual pluck and acerbic wit) who joins an all-girl roller derby team in an attempt to escape from her smothering family life and overbearing mother. An impressive directorial debut by Drew Barrymore, who also costars as Bliss's teammate. Lots of fun!
